This Privacy Policy describes how MDK Ventures LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Certified Pet Parent mobile application and related services under the current implementation. It is written to reflect how the product works today, not features that may be added later.
1. Who we are

2. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
- Name. The app may collect the user’s name in connection with a review and personalized certificate.
- Pet name. The app may collect a pet name you enter for personalization.
- Email address. The app may collect an email address in connection with certificate purchases and recovery intent.
- Review and certificate-related information. When you complete a purchase verification flow, we may store information associated with the personalized review/certificate, including generated result information such as Pet Parent Score, Household Authority, Pet Parent Type, Signed Pet Comment, Official Commendation, and Performance Citation, along with related certificate identity fields.
- Purchase and order information. To verify and fulfill App Store purchases, we store purchase history and Apple transaction/order information necessary for verification and fulfillment (for example, Apple transaction identifiers, product identifier, purchase timestamp, and related order metadata).
- Technical request data. When the app contacts our servers, standard internet transmission data such as IP address may be processed by our hosting provider as part of delivering the request. We do not store IP address as a field in our order database under the current implementation.
3. Information that remains on your device
- Pet photos. Pet photos selected for certificates are processed locally on the user’s device under the current implementation and are not uploaded to our servers.
- Raw quiz answers. Raw quiz answers remain local on the device under the current implementation.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- operate the Certified Pet Parent experience;
- verify Apple in-app purchases;
- create and maintain durable purchase/order records;
- support certificate fulfillment and recovery-related workflows as they are implemented; and
- respond to support requests you send us.
Under the current implementation, entering an email address for delivery or recovery expresses that intent; it does not mean an email is automatically sent by our systems today.
5. Payments
Optional certificate purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store’s in-app purchase system. MDK Ventures LLC does not receive your credit-card or banking information.
6. Advertising, analytics, and tracking
- The app does not use third-party advertising.
- The app does not use advertising identifiers.
- The app does not use analytics SDKs.
- The app does not perform cross-app or cross-website tracking.
7. Sale of personal information
We do not sell personal information.
8. Sharing
We may share information with service providers who help us operate the product (for example, hosting and database providers) only as needed to provide the service. Apple processes App Store payments and related purchase verification under Apple’s terms and policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
9. Retention
We retain purchase/order records and related fulfillment context for as long as reasonably necessary to verify purchases, operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records. Retention periods may vary by record type and legal requirements. This policy does not promise a specific automatic deletion timeline for photos or other data beyond what is described in the current implementation sections above.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information we maintain. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Children’s privacy
Certified Pet Parent is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when changes are posted.
